We don’t have to look far to see nurses’ impact—whether in hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools, homes, or boardrooms. Nurses are often the first to arrive and the last to leave, holding the hands of patients, advocating for families, and working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the best possible care.
In a recent message, Jennifer Mensik Kennedy, President of ANA, captured the heart of this week’s celebration beautifully:
“I especially want to recognize our nation’s 5 million nurses for how you show up in every moment—in practice and as you go about your daily lives. That’s why nurses have been named the most honest and ethical professionals for 23 consecutive years—a testament to your unwavering character and commitment.”
This incredible legacy isn’t just about the care nurses provide during a shift—it’s about their lasting imprint on their patients and communities. From clinical care to health education and leadership, nurses play a multi-dimensional role that strengthens the fabric of society.
A Week to Shine a Light
National Nurses Week is more than just words of thanks—it’s a movement of recognition and support. Across the country:
- Iconic landmarks are lighting up in blue and white to honor nurses.
- Local organizations are offering special perks, discounts, and tributes.
- The ANA and partners provide resources and host events to uplift, inspire, and empower the nursing community.
It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and say: We see you. We appreciate you.
Why This Matters to Us
At ETSells International, we have a deep connection to the nursing community. My mother was a proud Registered Nurse, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the sacrifices and resilience that define this profession. This is why part of our mission is to serve and support nurses through real estate guidance, wealth-building resources, or simply showing up in meaningful ways.
Nurses take care of everyone else. It’s our turn to take care of them.
💙 To all the nurses reading this: THANK YOU. Your strength, compassion, and commitment inspire us every day—not just this week, but always.
